Pirates Invade the Princess Theatre!

The swashbuckling hit musical, The Pirates of Penzance – In Concert, is brought to life at the grand Princess Theatre, Brisbane. Two hours of non-stop laughs, mischief, debauchery and romance, arguably Gilbert & Sullivan’s finest writing! A hilarious farce of sentimental pirates, bumbling policemen, dim-witted young lovers and an eccentric Major-General.

The Pirate King will be performed by original Ten Tenor and The Voice 2017AU contestant, Nathan Kneen. Nathan was also the understudy to the great Simon Gallaher in the Essgee Entertainment version of The Pirates of Penzance featuring Jon English.

“We are so lucky to have Nathan for Pirates of Penzance. Not only with his history with the show, but we certainly think he is going to be a knock-out Pirate King. Get ready for the laughs!”
Lucas D. Lynch
Executive Producer

The musical will also feature other amazing talent from Grant Couchman (Head of Brisbane Academy of Musical Theatre), Patricia Dearness (Menopause The Musical, 2019 Tour) and Jack Biggs (2019 Graduate of The Queensland Conservatorium of Music).

The show will be backed by a 16-piece orchestra with the Cadenza Chamber Players.
